We are pleased to announce our first Professional Development event for 2012.

We will be exploring the connection between recent insights from neuroscience and the Circumplex. The focus will be on how this knowledge can be applied in working with clients to strengthen leadership effectiveness and build Constructive cultures.

The session is called "Debriefing with the Brain in Mind", and will provide practitioners with a basic understanding of key insights from the latest neuroscience research and how they may be practically applied when debriefing and coaching individuals using HS diagnostics such as Lifestyles Inventory.

After this session you will:

• Understand how the brain processes information and why certain situations trigger defensive behaviour
• Learn about the SCARF model developed by Dr David Rock which identifies the conditions that are most likely to generate a threat state and thus could show up as defensive behaviours
• Be able to apply the SCARF model to the Circumplex
